Job Location: Birmingham, AL(In-Office) or Tulsa, OK (In-Office)
What You’ll Do:
Handle administration of incoming mail, including but not limited to, opening and distributing mail
Mail claim forms with required documentation to payers based on requirements indicated in payer guidelines and regulations
Print appeals and include appropriate paperwork to send to insurance companies
Provide other support for Claims Department as assigned
Follow up on patient accounts with outstanding balances to coordinate payment resolution
Process patient correspondence; including phones, emails and chats
Follow up on patient accounts with outstanding balances to coordinate payment resolution, process credit card payments
Review accounts for outside collection agencies
Other duties as assigned
How You’ll Stand Out:
Bilingual (Spanish)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing workload with frequent interruptions
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and follow up
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
High School graduate or GED required
Compensation: $21.00-$23.00/hour
