OVERVIEW

We are searching for a Maintenance Technician III with advanced experience supporting metal fabrication and CNC production equipment, specifically laser cutting systems, CNC punching machines, and press brake machines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC lasers, CNC punching machines, and press brakes
• Diagnosing complex issues across mechanical and electrical systems
• Leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Minimizing downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, PLC logic (basic), and technical manuals
• Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipment
• Serving as a senior technical resource on the production floor

REQUIREMENTS

5–8 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Direct, hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining metal fabrication equipment, including:

• Press Brakes
• CNC Laser Machines
• CNC Turret Press Equipment
• Combo Machines (laser/punch)

Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment issues independently, including root cause analysis
• Experience performing:
• • Preventive maintenance (PMs)
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Emergency/breakdown repairs on production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret:
• • Electrical schematics
  • Blueprints
  • Maintenance manuals and technical documentation
• Proficiency using:
• • Diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
  • Hand tools and power tools
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills for CMMS/maintenance tracking systems and documentation
