Position Summary: The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Coordinate job postings and maintain applicant tracking systems.
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Prepare new hire paperwork and facilitate orientation sessions.
- Manage exit processes, including final documentation and equipment return.
- Benefits Administration:
- Support enrollment and changes in health, life, and voluntary benefits.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and policies.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalating issues as needed.
- Payroll Support:
- Verify timekeeping data and assist with payroll processing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
