Commercial Fluid Power, a subsidiary of the National Tube Supply Company, specializing in supplying machining services to the fluid power industry is in search of a CNC Programmer reporting to our Dover, OH location. These services include boring, honing, welding and machining.
We currently have openings for the following shift:

Responsibilities:
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and create 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Program CNC milling and turning machines using CAMWorks.
- Create job setup sheets documenting necessary tooling and fixturing.
- Optimize setups, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies to improve cycle times.
- Work with machinists to ensure jobs run smoothly and efficiently.
- Adjust and debug programs directly at the machine when needed (Primarily FANUC Controls).
- Participate in quoting new jobs by reviewing prints and estimating machining time.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-documented programming files and setup sheets.
Required:
- 2 years of hands-on CNC programming experience in a machine shop setting.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks).
- Proficiency in CAM software (CAMWorks).
- Solid knowledge of G-code and M-code for common CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas).
- Experience with job setup, including tooling and fixture selection.
- Strong understanding of machining best practices, tolerances, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues on the shop floor.
- 2 year Engineering degree.
- Experience programming and setting up live-tooling machines.
- Experience with FANUC Guide-I.
- Familiarity with prototype and small-batch production.
- Ability to collaborate with quoting and planning teams on job routing.
- Knowledge of lean practices and continuous improvement strategies.
