Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technician, located in Phoenix, AZ. The Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of data center infrastructure and fiber network systems. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and terminating fiber and copper cables, testing and troubleshooting connections, reading blueprints and schematics, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in all tasks. Collaboration with team members and effective communication across all levels of the organization are integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in cable installation and termination, including fiber and copper cables
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining data center infrastructure and network systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols, tools handling, and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in OSP or ISP environments is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training are advantageous
