What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stand-Up Forklift Operator position at National Star Services?
National Star Services is a 28-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Stand-Up Forklift Operators for our location in Salem, OR 97317.
This is a temporary assignment expected to last 2–3 months, with the possibility of additional opportunities based on performance and business needs.
Job Summary:
We are looking for reliable and skilled forklift operators to safely and efficiently handle materials using Stand-up Clamp, Pacer, and Reach Truck forklifts. Responsibilities include loading and unloading various construction materials from flatbed semi-trucks and supporting general operations both inside and outside the distribution center.
Available Schedules:
Monday – Thursday (40 Hours/Week)
1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Friday – Sunday (36 Hours/Week)
1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hourly Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Requirements:
- Two updated valid forms of ID (Photo ID & SSC)
- Must have been or be currently certified in stand-up forklift.
- Have Steel Toe Boots to wear at work required for safety.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a stand-up forklift.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a preferred but not required.
- Willingness to undergo a Background Check and a Drug test.
- Have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Be able to start working as soon as possible.
