What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastries Prepping And Packing position at National Star Services?
National Star Services is a 28-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Pastry Helpers to work at our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018.
Job responsibilities
- Assisted the pastry production team, chefs, and cooks in preparing and mixing pastry products.
- Work in different station such as (Fruit cutting station, economy packing station, juice station, basket station, assembling and plating food etc.)
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
- Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety tea.
- Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
Schedule:
Monday - Sunday, with 2 days off during the week.
(Weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor)
1st Shift available: 8:00 am Until Finish around 4:30pm
Hourly Pay Rate:
Regular: $17.50/Hr.
Overtime: $26.25/Hr.
(Biweekly Pay)
Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
- Must have two valid forms of ID (Photo ID & SSC)
- Own transportation to get to and from work.
- Must have experience working in a kitchens and/or handling food.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to start working as soon as possible.
