We are looking for a RN Lactation Consultant to join our amazing team!
Details of the opening:
- Anticipated start date: ASAP
- Salary Range: $47 /hr
- Anticipated duration of this contract assignment: Contract ends 9/30/2026
- Anticipated schedule: Full Time, 5 days per week

Job Summary:
- Actively promote breastfeeding and develop and implement standards of care and guidelines for assisting breastfeeding mothers in all areas of the organization as well as existing programs, such as: OB, Childbirth Education, and Breastfeeding classes
- Be responsible for organizing information and preparing marketing material to promote breastfeeding, collaborating with Department Heads from Pediatrics, Family Practice, and OB/GYN for patient care education
RN (Lactation Consultant) must have and meet the following:
- Degree: Associates Degree of Nursing
- Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by ACEN or CCNE
- Possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last two years as a registered nurse and provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the last two years attesting to the HCW’s clinical skills
- Certifications: BLS, PALS
- Possess and maintain certification as a lactation consultant as determined by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE)
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
