We are looking for a Benefits Administrator to impact and improve our corporate team.

Position Overview:
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing and administering the organization’s employee benefits programs, ensuring they are compliant, competitive, and supportive of employee well-being. This role oversees program operations, handles day-to-day benefits, transactions, partners closely with vendors and payroll, and serves as a primary resource for employee inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental insurance plans.
- Manage the CalSaver Plan; including employee enrollment, changes, and compliance
requirements.
- Maintain accurate plan documentation and ensure timely updates.
- Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and terminations.
- Verify eligibility and maintain accurate benefit records in the HRIS/benefits platform.
- Reconcile enrollment data with carriers to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA,
FMLA, etc.).
- Prepare and distribute required notices and disclosures.
- Support annual audits and ensure timely filings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit-related questions.
- Provide guidance to employees to help them understand plan options, processes, and
policies.
- Resolve issues with tact, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, and benefit service providers.
- Assist in plan renewals, implementations, and contract reviews.
- Monitor vendor performance and escalate service issues as needed.
- Prepare benefits reports, metrics, and compliance documentation.
- Support internal and external audits, including 401(k) audits, ACA reporting, and carrier
audits.
- Develop clear communication materials about benefit programs, changes, and
deadlines.
- Conduct benefits orientations, open enrollment sessions, and targeted employee
education initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid understanding of benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving mindset and customer service orientation.
