Motorcycle Service Technician

National Powersports Distributors is now hiring motorcycle technicians of all levels. We are one of, if not the highest volume used motorcycle dealer in the country. We are busy year-round, and our family of Techs enjoy working on all types of motorcycles with minimal non-motorcycles, in an hourly pay structure. We compensate productive technicians well, and service motorcycles in all but totality.

We are searching for a detail-oriented enthusiast who will take pride in performing motorcycle service work.

Requirements

· Previous professional technician experience

· Own tools to perform tasks required at your proficiency level

· Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement

· Dependability and self-motivation

· Attention to detail in a high-volume environment

· Minimal come-backs

Essential Job Functions

· Provide dependable, high quality motorcycle service work to both internal and external customers

· Enter summaries of repairs conducted into our inventory management software

· Maintain a clean and efficient work area

· Scheduled Preventative Maintenance

· Tire mounting and balancing

· Electrical diagnostics

· Fuel system diagnostics

· Mechanical diagnostics

· Installation of bolt on accessories

· Brake service

· Battery and charging system testing

· Chassis and suspension service

· Pre-Delivery Inspections

· New York State Inspections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
