Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Member Services Specialist located in Chicago, IL. The Member Services Specialist will assist members with financial services, answer member inquiries via phone or in person, and provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities will also include guiding members in navigating financial products, performing transactions, resolving account issues, and promoting relevant credit union services. The position requires a commitment to enhancing the overall member experience and fostering positive relationships on behalf of the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with members in person, via phone, and in written correspondence.
- Exceptional Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering tailored financial solutions to meet members’ needs.
- Basic Sales skills, with the capability to recommend appropriate products and services that align with members' financial objectives.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience in financial services, banking, and customer service is an asset.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn organizational software with ease.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining members' trust and confidentiality.
