With its national headquarters in Tampa, Florida, the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research to eliminate childhood cancer. Our focus is to fund research to find less toxic, more targeted therapies by partnering with leading hospitals nationwide. NPCF has donated over $50 million to researchers through our Sunshine Project. This innovative collaboration with thirty national hospitals bringing together the nation’s top doctors and researchers to fast-track new treatments and increase the survival rate for children battling cancer. We are scaling our efforts nationwide through a cause marketing campaign and seeking a fundraising professional to support this effort.

Summary:
This position is responsible for the tactics and execution of fundraising efforts to include the following: Corporate Sponsorships / Cause Campaigns / Peer to Peer / Workplace giving programs / Auction. The primary focus of this position is fundraising related to our “corporate events”. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the recruitment efforts, fundraising activities / goals, and support for our engagement initiatives. Requirements:
· Advanced degree & CFRE preferred
· Minimum of 2 years fundraising/sales experience, with a proven history of revenue growth with regional/national corporate sponsors
· Experience in corporate giving campaigns / fundraising / development, preferably within a non-profit organization
· Proven ability to engage staff, volunteers, sponsors, donors, c-suite constituents, and others and leading them toward goal achievement
· Experience with systematic / process driven fundraising tools, platforms, and applications
· Proven success and adherence with to budget, timelines, processes, planning, relationship building, communication, measurement/outcomes, and marketing
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage a wide range of clients/donors and build long-term relationships
· Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally. At least 30% travel is anticipated. Projected program schedule includes overnight travel to ten markets.
· Computer proficiency in MS Office/Outlook, Virtuous/CRM databases and web-based peer-to-peer platforms (Classy). Tech savvy with email & social media experience
· High energy, results oriented, strategic, visionary, and entrepreneurial skill set
Key Responsibilities:
· Build pipeline of major donors with four to five figure or greater potential. Effectively manage portfolio of prospects and strategically move them to their highest level
· Assist with building and growing sponsorship platforms/models
· Assist with cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship initiatives with major donors, targeted individuals and/or sponsors to include CRM system updates/reporting, etc.
· Develop and present proposals
· Sustain prospect / donor lists / donor data and generate weekly recruitment targets
· Research and analyze data/funding sources and assist with Development plan
· Monitor and report regularly on the progress of the development program
· Coordinate multi-channel communication strategy with Marketing team to drive registration and revenue
· Recruit, train, and guide volunteers
· Host and/or speak at team meetings, recruitment meetings, and sponsor/fundraising recognition activities
· Contributes to a collegial and professional work environment leading to maximum performance and professional development
