Fundraising Research Learning Designer

Aspire Research Group LLC specializes in helping nonprofits raise more major gifts through expert consulting services in prospect research and fundraising strategy as well as specialized training through its Prospect Research Institute online learning community.

Role Description

This is a contract-based remote position for a Fundraising Research Learning Designer. The role involves developing and delivering learning resources related to fundraising and prospect research. Key tasks include designing lesson plans, creating educational materials such as e-learning modules, conducting research to inform content creation, and collaborating with team members to align materials with client needs. The candidate will also support clients in improving their fundraising strategies and processes through innovative learning approaches.

3 months, 20 hours per week • $30-$50 per hour • Fluent business English (reading and writing) • Available for weekly video meeting check-ins • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Ability to work on your own computer in a Microsoft Teams environment • Based in USA preferred, but not required

Qualifications

• Strong instructional design skills, including the ability to create engaging lesson plans, e-learning modules, and educational materials
• Expertise in fundraising strategies, prospect research, and donor engagement
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with proficiency in editing and presenting educational content
• Strong research and problem-solving abilities to effectively understand and address client needs
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt in a remote, contract work environment
• Experience with learning management systems and multimedia content creation is a plus
• Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising strategies and experience in the nonprofit sector is highly desirable
