National Patrol Services is hiring a dependable, professional unarmed security guard for a Pennsylvania state government office (Adams County Assistance Office) in Gettysburg. This is a steady, single-post day-shift role — perfect if you want consistent weekday hours and a professional environment.
What you'll do:
Greet and screen visitors and maintain a visible presence at the front entrance Patrol the building and grounds, checking for safety and security issues De-escalate disturbances and keep employees and the public safe Write clear daily and incident reports Operate two-way radio and hand-held security wand
What you need:
18 and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen No disqualifying criminal history (no felony/misdemeanor arrests or PFA orders) Professional appearance, reliable attendance, strong communication Prior security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience a plus
