REGISTERED NURSE

National Park Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care, coordinate treatment plans, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes. You will educate patients and families, document care accurately, and follow clinical protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and focused patient assessments and reassessments to identify care needs and changes in condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately, following physician orders and hospital protocols
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, intervening promptly and appropriately when patient status changes
• Document all assessments, interventions, medications, and patient education accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, discharge instructions, and ongoing self-care needs
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Assist with and prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring informed consent and pre-procedure readiness
• Practice and promote infection control, patient safety, and quality standards in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and continuing education to support professional development and enhance patient outcomes
• Support safe patient handling and mobility, including transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention measures
