Maintenance Technician/Electrician at Earlham College
National Management Resources has provided facilities management services for over 40 years. We work in educational settings, including K-12 facilities, boarding schools, colleges, and universities all over the country. We offer competitive wages.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and electrical repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
Shift: 7:30AM - 4PM, Monday - Friday

Maintenance Technician/Electrician Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain buildings.
- Perform electrical work as needed.
- Complete set-ups and tear down for scheduled campus activities.
- Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.
- Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.
- Conduct HVAC inspections and change filters as needed.
- Perform on call duties as needed/assigned.
- Ensure environment is safe and working properly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintenance Technician/Electrician Qualifications:
- Have a valid driver's license
- Must have a journeyman's license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire date
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work from ladders
- Climb stairs
- Stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures.
Minimum Work Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in general maintenance
- 3 years’ experience in Electrical work
Passing a Drug Screening and Background Check is required for employment.
