Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trucking Dispatcher to coordinate and manage freight transportation operations. The ideal candidate will oversee dispatching activities, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery of shipments. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with transportation management systems, and a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes. The Trucking Dispatcher will play a critical role in maintaining efficient fleet operations and supporting overall transportation planning.
Duties
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations for freight shipments, ensuring optimal routing and scheduling using Alvys TMS.
- Communicate with drivers, clients, and warehouse personnel via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication.
- Monitor fleet movements through GPS tracking and transportation management tools to ensure timely deliveries.
- Supervise off-shore dispatchers to ensure data entry related to shipment details, driver logs, and freight documentation accurately within Alvys TMS.
- Oversee shipping & receiving activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Semi-truck dispatching.
- Preferred experience in OTR operations.
- Must have experience using some sort of TMS software & excel.
- Must be able to perform under pressure randomly which is expected in trucking industry.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
