What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, ensuring a seamless intake experience.
- Coordinate and process all new patient referrals quickly and accurately.
- Review and obtain patient records and documentation using both internal systems and external sources.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations for pharmacy and nursing services.
- Clearly communicate coverage details and financial responsibilities to patients—keeping them informed every step of the way.
- Collaborate closely with our pharmacy, nursing, sales, and case management teams to support patient discharge and therapy onboarding.
- Track and document all case activity to ensure records are complete and up to date.
- Play a critical role in turning referrals into real care, real fast.
What You Bring:
- 1–2 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills—friendly, professional, and confident on the phone and in writing
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Tech-savvy with solid math and computer skills
- Problem-solving mindset—you take initiative and find solutions
- Healthcare background, especially in insurance authorization or reimbursement
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Competitive pay: $18–$20/hr, based on experience
- Hybrid work option available after successful 90-day training period
