POSITION SUMMARY
The Claims Funding Analyst is responsible for reviewing client claims runs, obtaining approval from clients, ensuring funding obtained from client and reconciling back to system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor the Client Accounting mailbox on a daily basis.
- Log check runs received into an excel spreadsheet capturing key details.
- Ensure receipt of funding and follow-up with clients to ensure completeness of funding inventory.
- Generate daily management reports on status of the check runs (by metric requested by management).
- Assist with or participate in ad hoc requests and any other responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Other job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial and claims-related information.
- Understanding of basic financial analysis and reconciliation practices.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in finance or accounting.
