National Grid is hiring a Project Manager for our New England Distribution Line Project Management team. This is a hybrid position and can be based out of any of our Massachusetts locations.

Our Project Management team oversees a portfolio of electric distribution capital projects across New England, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in support of customer and business needs.
In this role, you'll manage projects from planning through construction and closeout, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Purpose
As a Project Manager within Capital Project Delivery, you will lead a portfolio of electric distribution infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You'll play a key role in supporting operational objectives, customer commitments, and the continued modernization of the electric grid. This is a hybrid role open to any Massachusettes location.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a portfolio of capital projects from initiation through construction and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and provide monthly schedule updates.
- Identify project risks and issues early and work collaboratively to resolve them.
- Monitor, forecast, and report project budgets, financial performance, and milestones.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Support project closeout activities, including financial reconciliation and customer-related project requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently solve problems and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel throughout the service territory.
Preferred
- Project management experience.
- Experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Experience managing capital or infrastructure-related projects.

Salary
$109,000 - $128,000 a year
National Grid will not be providing visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future. You must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
