Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mitigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, particularly in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. This role involves working on-site to restore properties affected by various types of damage, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the extent of damage to properties and determine the necessary restoration procedures.
- Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from affected areas.
- Execute asbestos abatement procedures in compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out restoration tasks.
- Clean and restore carpets using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred, particularly in water damage restoration or mold remediation.
- Familiarity with asbestos abatement practices is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to restoration work.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
