ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Mitigation Manager at NFR, you will lead our mitigation crews and subcontractors to deliver fast, clean, and compliant water damage response services. You will own the operational standards, team development, and quality control that ensure every job runs smoothly and meets our high expectations. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
· You will lead and manage Mitigation Crew Chiefs, Technicians, and subcontractors, setting clear expectations and driving accountability
· You will plan and adjust daily field deployment to balance workload and respond to changing conditions
· You will enforce mitigation standards and SOPs, conducting quality checks and correcting issues in real time
· You will develop training programs and career paths to grow your team’s skills and leadership capabilities
· You will own key performance metrics including response times, drying days, and job margins
· You will ensure all field documentation is complete, accurate, and timely to support billing and collections
· You will partner with Safety & Compliance to maintain a safe work environment and investigate incidents
· You will manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
· 5 years of experience in mitigation or restoration with leadership responsibility
· Strong knowledge of mitigation processes, safety, and industry standards
· Proven ability to lead and develop field teams and subcontractors
· Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
· Experience with scheduling, capacity planning, and operational management
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
