Job Title: Paralegal

Location: Winter Haven, FL

Pay: $18.00-$23.00/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm, and Friday, 9am-3pm

Duration: Temporary to Possible Hire

Job Description

• Assist attorneys with Florida probate administrations, including opening and closing estates
• Draft routine probate pleadings under attorney supervision
• Serve as the primary non-attorney point of contact for probate matters
• Assist with identifying, valuing, and tracking estate assets
• Maintain calendaring systems and ticklers for probate matters
• Assist with broader estate planning workflow support
  
  

Job Requirements

• Prior probate paralegal experience in Florida required, minimum of three years
• Familiarity with Clerk of Courts, Probate Judges, Property Appraiser, Tax Collector, and related agencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite, PDF document management, database management and e-filing systems
