Job Title: Medical Scheduler

Location: Lakeland, FL

Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Duration: Temporary to Possible Hire

Job Description

• Receive a high volume of telephone calls to schedule and reschedule appointments
• Verify and update patient information
• Navigate and follow all steps of the scheduling process including assigning the correct exam tasks, referring physician information, selecting the correct exam, and correctly spelling medical terms and diagnosis
• Identify the correct CPT codes and fees for self-pay exams
  
  

Job Requirements

• Knowledgeable in imaging studies to answer basic questions for the patient or referring physicians' offices and recite exam preparation guidelines
• Strong customer service skills
• Bilingual skills, English and Spanish
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong data entry and typing skills
