What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Clerk position at National Delivery Systems?
Office Clerk
We are currently seeking Day-Time Office Clerk. Shift is Monday- Friday 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service answering the phones / tracking orders
- Speaking to drivers in regards to issues with deliveries
- Scheduling appointments
- Filing away paperwork / imaging
- Supervising LTL accounts. Creating jobs, responding to emails, entering rates, etc.
- Handling dock pick ups
- Walking the dock for missing orders
- Monitoring/tracking delivery performance
- Reporting delays to customer
Requirements:
- Above average Microsoft Office computer skills and the ability to learn and become an expert on company’s proprietary software.
- 3 years working in an office environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to get to work on time.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
