About the Role:

The CERRC Fellowship seeks exceptional middle and high school educators who are ready to lead and inspire. As a Fellow, you will:

  • Design and deliver engaging professional learning experiences for educators.
  • Serve as a civic education ambassador in rural and remote communities.
  • Build and strengthen local networks of educators and community leaders.
  • Host virtual workshops and office hours to support nationwide collaboration.
  • Champion nonpartisanship, open dialogue, and civic engagement.

This fellowship requires a one- to two-year full-time commitment and includes travel to schools and districts in rural and remote regions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, history, political science, or related field.
  • At least five years of classroom teaching experience.
  • Currently teaching or left the classroom within the past three years.
  • Strong organizational, research, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
