Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex healthcare IT projects for UnitedHealth Group. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, stakeholder communication, and delivering projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, IT, QA, and operations
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Communicate project status, issues, and updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company standards
- Manage vendor coordination and client expectations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in Project Management
- Strong experience in Healthcare domain (preferred with UHG or similar clients)
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT or healthcare projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, MS Project, or similar
- PMP / Scrum Master certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare systems such as claims, enrollment, EHR, or payer systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
- Experience working with onshore/offshore teams
