Essential Functions
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all the following essential functions. These examples do not include all the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.
- Receive, verify, code, and process invoices for goods and services, ensuring proper authorization and adherence to company policies.
- Investigates and works to resolve larger, or more difficult, invoices, working closely with project managers to ensure proper coding, approval, and documentation.
- Creates and submits Bill Requests to Accounts Receivable for expenses that require reimbursement
- Review and prepare employee expense reports making sure expenses follow NCBA, IRS, and checkoff compliance reimbursement guidelines.
- Creates, distributes, and files contracts, work orders, and PO requests in accordance with NCBA compliance standards and processes.
- Assist in maintaining vendor system files.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and resolve discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- EDUCATION – High School Diploma
- EXPERIENCE – Three years of accounts payable experience required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

- SKILLS- Detail oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Numerical accuracy and problem-solving skills needed.
