Requirements

• 2 years of experience working in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing work environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions such as shipping and receiving documents.
• Must be able to use bar code readers, computer, and other electronic devices.
• Must pass forklift certification exam and maintain certification.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Needs excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Requires the ability to follow task through to completion with little supervision.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes all required paperwork.
• Reviews products prior to packaging to ensure products are properly labeled.
• Loads and secures product onto trucks with straps and load bars ensuring protection of products to prevent freight damage.
• Utilizes scan functions to perform shipping and receiving tasks in conjunction with computer.
• Uses forklift to move supplied and products.
• Accurately receives, verifies, and inventories incoming shipments of materials ensuring they are high quality, the right quantity and labeled correctly.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Assists with inventory of merchandise and raw materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
