Job Overview
National Carriers, Inc. is hiring a full-time Driver Recruiter to join our team in Irving, Texas.
We are looking for someone who is driven, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This position is responsible for recruiting qualified CDL-A drivers and guiding them through the hiring process—from the initial conversation through orientation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage inbound driver leads and applications
- Make outbound calls to prospective CDL-A drivers
- Explain company pay, benefits, equipment, and available driving opportunities
- Review applications and determine whether candidates meet company qualifications
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with applicants
- Build strong relationships with prospective drivers
- Keep accurate applicant records and recruiting notes
- Coordinate with Safety, Operations, and other departments throughout the hiring process
- Meet individual and team hiring goals
- Represent National Carriers professionally during every interaction
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Ability to connect with people and build trust
- Organized and capable of managing multiple applicants at different stages
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working toward performance goals
- Able to handle rejection, overcome objections, and follow up consistently
- Recruiting, sales, customer service, call-center, or transportation experience preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and CDL driver qualifications is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
