Role Description The Baker is a full-time, on-site role based at our Miami, FL facility. This role is responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking a range of products, including breads, cookies, cakes, and other pastries according to established recipes and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include measuring ingredients, operating bakery equipment, monitoring baking times and temperatures, and ensuring products meet quality and presentation standards. The Baker will help with inventory of ingredients, maintain a clean and safe work area, follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, and coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Bakery operations and Baking techniques for cakes, pastries, and related products.
• Hands-on experience with Food Preparation, including measuring, mixing, and handling ingredients safely.
• Ability to produce a variety of Cookies and other small baked items with consistent quality.
• Skills in Bread making, including dough preparation, proofing, and baking.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift baking supplies and trays, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately.
• Previous experience in a commercial bakery or culinary environment preferred; formal culinary or baking training is a plus.
