NBOME is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Case Development and Quality Assurance Analyst. The individual for this hybrid position will contribute to the creation of clinical cases and uphold editorial excellence across C3DO materials. This individual will analyze data to provide validity evidence for assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts and team members. The position demands strong research, writing, and editing skills to ensure compliance with quality standards. Additionally, the analyst performs both advanced and intermediate data analyses to support assessment integrity while engaging actively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated analytical abilities and experience in clinical case development are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Case development: responsible for supporting the development and editing of cases for the C3DO assessment, including managing the case bank and question bank for C3DO. Actively participates in the facilitation of committee and subcommittee work involved with C3DO development and plays a key role supporting the effectiveness of content development subcommittees, ensuring alignment with assessment standards of the NBOME.
- Quality assurance: responsible for reviewing data from the C3DO assessment from the colleges of osteopathic medicine, creating detailed reports for the training team and development teams to improve the quality of assessment development and delivery processes.
- Editorial review: edits and proofreads cases and related materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to institutional guidelines.
- Project coordination: tracks progress of case development projects, ensuring deadlines are met and communicating updates to relevant parties.
- Actively participates in research activities and represents NBOME in projects related to C3DO implementation, outcomes and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Math, English, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in education, writing/editing, preferably knowledge of medical writing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Experience in data visualization and presenting findings clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support data-driven decision making
- Previous experience in clinical skills exam development helpful
- Ability to work well with a variety of people, work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and be well organized in all work aspects.
- Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations, skills in problem solving.
Salary : $68,000 - $85,000
