Controller responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the National Beef Ohio financial close process including creation, posting, and reviewing journal entries
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations
- Track and reconcile all capital projects and fixed assets
- Perform actual vs planned return analysis on all payback projects
- Provide analysis as needed for revenue and expense reporting
- Lead the annual budget process
- Provide profit and loss projections as requested
- Provide daily, weekly, quarterly and annual reporting on yields, labor, sales and expenses
- Monthly reporting for customer/s portals tracking all sales and expenses and inventory
- Work with other managers to ensure inventory, sales and purchasing issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Train backup(s) on all duties and keep them up to date on all responsibilities and processes
- Additional duties as assigned.
This is an on-site position.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates for the Controller position should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior operations accounting experience
- Experience working with yield and cost comparisons
- Strong Excel skills
- Possesses good analytical, time management, and process management skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
