Position Summary
The Production Assistant, Live Support Streaming is part of the NBA’s Social & Digital Content team, with a focus on curating streaming content for all NBA platforms. The ideal candidate is an avid NBA fan with the technical knowledge and background to assist in producing live streaming content. This role works closely with the NBA’s social, app, and web teams, as well as with domestic and international partners, to deliver high-quality, timely content to over 100M fans worldwide.

Major Responsibilities
- Leading technical workflow for Sirius XM Morning Show
- Operating support positions on larger NBA TV shows (graphics, video playback, etc.)
- Executing social streaming content obligations
- Live sports broadcasting experience.
- Knowledgeable in all elements of live streaming production including encoding, camera set up and operation, audio and video routing, etc.
- Experience crewing and managing live, in-the-field productions.
- Deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the NBA.
- Strong writing and communication skills, as well as ability to execute editorial judgment.
- Strong knowledge of and actively use social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks with precision.
- Flexibility to adjust to evolving schedules and priorities.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
