The Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance operations for the property, ensuring safe, well-maintained apartments and a positive living environment. This role reports to the Property Manager and leads the maintenance team in daily operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all maintenance operations for the property
- Lead, train, and support maintenance staff
- Coordinate work orders and apartment make-readies
- Perform and oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
- Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance standards
- Work with management on scheduling, planning, and budgets
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner
Requirements
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required
- Supervisory or lead maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to manage a team and prioritize workload
- EPA Universal Certification required
