What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist position at Nathan Littauer Hospital?
Job Purpose: The purpose of this job is to perform Echocardiography, vascular and abdominal ultrasound examinations utilizing equipment to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data, taking into account the individual patient's special physical or age-related needs.
Education : Satisfactory completion of an Ultrasound Training Program.
Preferred: Associate's degree from an approved AMA program in Ultrasound Technology.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Experience: Possess one (1) year of experience in Vascular, Cardiac and Carotid Ultrasound.
Preferred: Possess two (2) years of experience in Vascular, Cardiac and Carotid Ultrasound.
