What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Imaging Manager position at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home?
Job Purpose: The Diagnostic Imaging Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in compliance with clinical, regulatory and safety standards. This role provides leadership to Radiologic Technologists and other imaging personnel, supports physicians in the diagnostic interpretation, manages departmental resources and plays a key role in quality assurance and service optimization.
Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiologic Sciences, Health Administration or related Field.
Preferred: Master’s degree.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: AART Certification (or equivalent) in Radiologic Technology required. Current New York State Licensure. Advanced certification in one or more imaging modalities is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging. At least two (2) – three (3) years in leadership, supervisor or management role.
Salary : $66,000 - $103,000
