Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines
- Clean, transform, and organize raw data from various sources (APIs, databases, AWS S3)
- Support ETL processes and automate data workflows
- Monitor ETL jobs performance and troubleshooting issues
- Document data engineering processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases
- Interns are fully supervised and instructed on all assignments and are encouraged to confer with their superiors when any questions or problems arise.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required by management.
- Must maintain appropriate attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Knowledge on big data technologies (Apache Spark).
- Familiarity with AWS cloud and ETL components like Redshift, Glue.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of database systems.
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize work and self and execute a wide range of tasks in a logical fashion
- Good decision making and documentation skills to interact effectively with team members
