At Nassau Candy, we foster a collaborative and dynamic workplace where growth and teamwork are at the core of our success.Who You Are:We are seeking a hands-on, well-rounded, and experienced Senior Industrial Mechanic to join our team on site at our Hicksville, NY location.This role is for someone with proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and installing industrial manufacturing equipment in a food or confectionery environment.The Senior Industrial Mechanic will play a key role in ensuring the functionality of our manufacturing processes, contributing to our commitment to quality and efficiency.How You'll Make an Impact:Equipment Maintenance & Repair:Diagnose and repair industrial and manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, confectionery, and packaging machinery.Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.Work with the facilities team to source and fix parts on older and newer machinery.Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution:Troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and implement timely solutions. Collaborate with team members to optimize machinery performance and enhance production capability.Safety & Organization:Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
