Position Summary:
Nassau Candy is a premier importer, manufacturer, and distributor of candy, specialty confections, fine foods, and promotional products. We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Entry Associate to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in the customer order process and requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter customer orders into the system in a timely manner
Review all incoming orders for accuracy and completeness; resolve any discrepancies
Escalate issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution and order accuracy
Monitor the status of open orders and follow through to successful completion
Stay current on new products, promotions, and internal processes
Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, and other departments to ensure smooth order flow
Support department needs with additional tasks or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role
High attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
Comfortable communicating professionally via phone and email
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with EDI platforms is a plus
Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude
