The Senior Industrial Mechanic will play a key role in ensuring the functionality of our manufacturing processes, contributing to our commitment to quality and efficiency.
How You'll Make An Impact
Equipment Maintenance & Repair:
- Diagnose and repair industrial and manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, confectionery, and packaging machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.
- Work with the facilities team to source and fix parts on older and newer machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and implement timely solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize machinery performance and enhance production capability.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately for future reference.
- At least seven (7) years of proven experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment – food environment is a plus.
- Experience with conveyors, packaging, confectionery, and general machinery.
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed to the highest standards, maintaining equipment integrity.
- Detailed accuracy to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Fluent or conversational Spanish (a plus).
