We are seeking an organized, motivated Project Manager to oversee painting projects from start to finish while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing residential and commercial painting projects. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and field crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Nashville Painting Professionals' quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential and commercial painting projects simultaneously.
- Monitor project progress and make adjusts as needed.
- Perform daily site visits and quality inspections.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Customer Service
- Serve as the primary contact throughout each project.
- Maintain proactive communication with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct final walkthroughs and obtain project approval.
Quality Control
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Verify proper preparation, application, and cleanup procedures.
- Identify punch-list items and oversee completion.
- Document projects with before-and-after photos.
Crew Management
- Ensure crews arrive on time and maintain a professional appearance.
- Promote a safe, productive work environment.
- Verify daily production goals are achieved.
Estimating & Sales Support
- Assist with project estimates if needed.
- Identify change orders and additional service opportunities.
- Support business development by maintaining excellent customer relationships and generating referrals.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain project documentation.
- Track labor hours and material usage.
- Submit daily project updates.
- Prepare closeout documentation upon project completion.
Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Proactively identify potential project challenges before they impact the schedule or budget.
- Resolve jobsite issues quickly and professionally while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Develop practical solutions for unforeseen conditions.
- Make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate solutions effectively to customers, crews, subcontractors, and management.
- Escalate complex issues when necessary while presenting recommended solutions.
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude under pressure.
