Experienced Billing SpecialistWe are Currently Hiring!Nashua Eye Associates is an Ophthalmology Practice located in Nashua, New Hampshire. We are currently looking for an energetic billing and data entry specialist that is experienced in healthcare billing, with special consideration for Ophthalmology background. This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient billing and collecting of health insurance payments from insurance carriers. The Billing and Reimbursement specialists will coordinate, document, and communicate with health insurance representatives regarding proper insurance payments in accordance with policies and procedures, and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.Your Responsibilities (Primary Duties):Medical Data Entry (Ophthalmology/Optometry).Maintains strict confidentiality of protected health information.Maintains HIPPA compliance.Performs other duties as requested by managerMay Include the Following:Compose and follow up on claims appealsCommunicating with patients regarding insurance checks.Appropriately identify, address, submit or process adjustments, overpayments, and outstanding balances.Pre-Authorizations/claims management Allocating coinsurance and deductibles appropriately within the database.Needed Qualifications:Strong attention to detail.Proven problem-solving skills.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized.Excellent time management.Ethical Conduct.Computer skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office.Comfortable with extensive telephone interactions.Ability to see projects through to the end.3 years’ experience in health care billing preferred.This is an in-office positionNo Billing Companies
