Are you looking for a fun, rewarding winter job? Join the Nashoba Valley Ski Racing Team as part of our Alpine Race Staff or Course Setting Team! Whether you’re a seasoned skier or simply eager to learn the ropes, we have opportunities for you. No ski racing experience is required—we will provide all the necessary training.
As a member of the race staff, you’ll play a critical role in supporting race operations for a variety of ski racing leagues, including youth development programs and our renowned Adult Team Racing League. This is an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, support a vibrant ski racing community, and get paid to ski!
We are especially looking to hire staff for daytime operations starting at 12 PM each day. Part-time and full-time positions available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards of safety in a fast-paced mountain environment.
- Set up and remove racecourse equipment, including fencing and gates.
- Monitor race areas to ensure skier and athlete safety.
- Maintain race equipment, radios, and tools.
Provide on-hill support for race operations, inspecting courses and securing race areas. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Race Director.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong skiing ability: Comfort on varied terrain is essential.
- Course setting experience is preferred, but we will train enthusiastic candidates with a passion for skiing and learning.
- Must be physically able to stand, walk on snow, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Availability for daytime operations starting at 12 PM is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old and available to work holidays and weekends as needed.
- Hourly wage starting at $18/hour, with higher pay for course-setting experience. Pay Range is $18-$19 per hour
