Showroom Coordinator / Receptionist for New Showroom

Nasco Stone & Tile is a leading supplier of premium stone and tile, serving top architects, designers, and developers across the country. As we launch our new state-of-the-art flagship showroom in New York City, we are seeking a highly polished and organized individual to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and partners.
Position Overview
The Showroom Coordinator / Receptionist plays a critical role in delivering a seamless and elevated client experience. This individual will manage front-of-house operations, support administrative functions, and help ensure the showroom runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
This is a highly visible role requiring professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a natural ability to create a welcoming, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Front Desk
- Greet and welcome clients, designers, and partners with a professional and warm demeanor
- Serve as the first point of contact, both in person and over phone/email
- Coordinate appointments and manage showroom traffic flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually impeccable front-of-house environment
Showroom Operations
- Support daily showroom operations to ensure a seamless experience
- Assist with sample requests, material handling, and organization
- Coordinate with the sales team to support client visits and presentations
- Help maintain and refresh displays, ensuring the space reflects a luxury standard
Administrative Support
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Assist with data entry, order tracking, and internal coordination
- Support scheduling, calendar management, and general office tasks
- Help streamline internal processes and maintain organization
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a receptionist, showroom, hospitality, or administrative role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Professional presentation and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (CRM experience is a plus)
Compensation
- Starting Base Salary Range: $50-65K dependent upon qualifications and experience.
