Summary
You will serve as a Cybersecurity and Privacy Specialist supporting the Chief Privacy Officer (CPO), advising senior leadership on the NASA Cybersecurity and Privacy Program, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements, and Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) compliance. You will ensure privacy needs for emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI), evaluate policies to improve performance, ensure legal adherence, and help safeguard NASA's sensitive information.

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.

- Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with customers; meet with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain policy and procedures, and resolve problems.
- Research and determine appropriate actions, or recommend mitigation measures and interpretations, for issues impacting the organization and/or NASA.
- Promote interchange of information on security and privacy requirements, capabilities, deficiencies, and technology applications.
- Review, evaluate and/or assist in drafting appropriate privacy notices, information collection requests, privacy threshold/analysis, privacy impact assessments, and other relevant privacy policies or inquiries on behalf of NASA.
- Implement new or proposed legislation and regulations, assess their impact on program operations and management, and ensure NASA Privacy Program compliance.
- Establish and assist NASA stakeholders of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) program requirements.
- Evaluate reports by analyzing facts, performing appropriate research, and preparing detailed responses.
- Advise leadership on the implementation and oversight of the NASA Cybersecurity and Privacy Program, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements, Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) requirements.

- Analyzing and resolving IT issues to ensure consistent service delivery and cybersecurity compliance;
- Evaluating or validating compliance within privacy programs, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) frameworks, intended to brief leadership on results and implications.
