HELP BRING THE ORIGIN OF SANTA CLAUS TO LIFE!
Narrows Community Theater invites performers of all ages to audition for CLAUS THE MUSICAL, a fantastical musical adventure based on The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus by L. Frank Baum, the beloved author of The Wizard of Oz.
Featuring a soaring, Disney-esque score, enchanting woodland creatures, and the extraordinary journey of a boy destined to become Father Christmas, Claus is a magical theatrical discovery waiting to be shared with audiences.
Could you be part of its U.S. or New York premiere? Premiere status is still being confirmed, but this is your chance to help bring a little-known musical to life on the New York stage!
ROLES FOR ADULTS, TEENS & CHILDREN
We're seeking performers of all ages and genders for principal and ensemble roles, including Claus, Necile, Ak, Zurline, Shiegra, Ryl Prince, Weekum, Will Knook, and a host of magical creatures, forest inhabitants, and villagers.
IN-PERSON AUDITIONS: Saturday, October 17, 3:30–10:00 PM
CALLBACKS (if needed): Sunday, October 18, 1:30–5:30 PM
LOCATION: Dimensions on Stage, 7603 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209
AUDITION PREPARATION: Prepare 32 bars of a musical theater or pop song in the style of the show, plus a contrasting 32 bars. Sides will be provided for a cold read.
VIRTUAL AUDITIONS: Submit by 11:59 PM on October 15. Virtual submissions are for performers who can attend in-person callbacks on October 18 if needed. Priority will be given to in-person auditions.
