JOB DESCRIPTION: The Elementary Special Educator is responsible for providing high-quality, specially designed instruction and comprehensive case management services to students with disabilities in grades K4. Working collaboratively with general educators, related service providers, families, and school administrators, the Elementary Special Educator develops and implements individualized educational programs (IEPs) that promote academic achievement, social-emotional growth, independence, and meaningful participation in the general education curriculum. Through evidence-based instructional practices, progress monitoring, and a commitment to inclusive education, the Elementary Special Educator ensures that each student has equitable access to learning opportunities while fostering a supportive, student-centered environment that celebrates individual strengths and promotes success for every learner.
