Role Description The Automotive Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at our St Louis, MO dealership. This role is responsible for engaging with guests, understanding their vehicle needs, and guiding them through the selection, test drive, and purchase process. Daily activities include presenting product features and benefits, explaining pricing and financing options, preparing sales documentation, and following up with guests to ensure ongoing satisfaction. The Automotive Sales Consultant collaborates closely with sales management, finance, and service teams to provide a seamless and professional experience. This role also involves maintaining product knowledge, meeting sales goals, and representing the Napleton brand with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication and Consulting abilities to understand guest needs and recommend appropriate automotive solutions.
- Knowledge of the Automotive industry, vehicle features, and basic financing concepts, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment, manage multiple guests, and meet defined sales targets.
- Comfort with using dealership software, CRM tools, and basic computer applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or prior sales experience in automotive or retail is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to conduct test drives safely.
