Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Digital Printing Technician role based in Naples, FL. The Digital Printing Technician will operate and maintain digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials according to job specifications and production schedules. Daily responsibilities include setting up print jobs, loading media, monitoring output quality, and performing routine calibration and cleaning of digital presses. The role also involves coordinating with the prepress and design teams to ensure accurate file preparation, color consistency, and efficient job flow. Additional tasks include basic finishing and bindery work, tracking inventory of print materials and supplies, troubleshooting equipment issues, and following safety and quality control procedures in a fast-paced production environment.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in print production processes, including job setup, color management, and quality control.
- Hands-on experience with digital printing equipment and general printing workflows.
- Ability to provide basic printer support, including routine maintenance, calibration, and equipment cleaning.
- Familiarity with bindery and finishing operations such as cutting, folding, stitching, and packaging.
- Skilled in troubleshooting print and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines.
- Comfort working in a production environment, including standing for extended periods and handling materials safely.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with design, prepress, and production staff.
- Previous experience in a commercial print shop or digital print environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or print-related training is a plus.
